I was inspired to create a space to educate people on self-care and how it can easily and seamlessly be incorporated into their lives.
A few years ago, I was working two jobs, my schedule was filled to the brim because I thought it had to be, and time for myself was limited. To say I was overly stressed would be an understatement. Anytime I did take time for myself I felt guilty for not being productive.
Then, I went through something pretty traumatic and took a step back to evaluate what was truly important in my life. While this included more connection with friends, family, and my pets, I also came to realize that taking time to take care of my own well-being needed to be prioritized.
Self-care looks different for everyone but we all need and deserve it.
